Jewelry

The one thing I detest about silver is the fact that it tarnishes.

Happily, I found a good and easy way to clean out my silver jewelry. All you need is a shallow pan, aluminium foil and bicarbonate soda.

Line the pan with aluminium and pour boiling hot water into the pan and add some bicarbonate soda into it. Put your silver in and leave it.

The foil will be dirty at the end of it and your silver bright, shiny and new again.

On a side note, these are my latest favourites from Tiffany & Co. Both are set in platinum and diamonds.

What is it about diamonds that sparks lust?

Marquise diamonds are quiet difficult.
They look nice in photos but in real life they lack the sparkle of a brilliant or princess cut diamond.
They also have a type of shadowing called a 'bow tie' due to the shape of the stone. Some people like it some people dont. I personally dont like it coz diamonds shouldnt look shadowed in my opinion.
They are also notorious for not suiting certain finger shapes.
But as far as MCQ diamond ring designs, T & Co. one is beautiful. So much nicer than the ones we have at work.

Oh dear, I didn't know diamonds were so technical. I always loved Marquise diamonds - it'll be a shame if it doesn't look nice on my rather short and pudgy fingers.

Shall remain hopeful.

lol- its more the ppl with elongated fingers coz the diamond makes them look even longer. esp if you have a big knuckle...
