The Irony

I've been treating patients for the past year or so but I still can't get over the distaste of seeing a patient rinse their mouth.

Everytime I tell my patient to rinse, I turn away and wait for them to get over it. It's just disgusting.

Today I went to Ortho clinic where the patient came in after mandibular advancement surgery and hadn't brushed her teeth for 2 weeks. The demonstrator offered to brush her teeth for her.

Spent the entire session looking everywhere else.

I feel sick.
